MEMS振荡器是指通过微机电系统制作出的一种可编程的硅振荡器.

产品原理传统的石英振荡器是由压电石英加上简单的起振芯片和金属封装组成的,其生产工艺包括:石英切割镀银、购买基座、起振芯片,爱普生晶振以及将石英及芯片以特殊黏胶结合后至于基座上,然后充填氮气,用金属封装进行密封.而不同频率、不同工作电压振荡器的产生,则是由石英的不同形状、镀银厚度及所佩的起振芯片所决定.所以,从生产工艺角度,石英产业是一个人工密集型的半自动化传统产业,其产品也受到传统原材料和工艺的限制:

1.复杂的生产程序导致供货期的拖长及缺货应急困难的现象;

2.不同振荡器规格需不同原料不同工艺,从而使成品缺乏灵活性,无法为满足不同应用而进行实时配置;

3.压电石英对温度敏感度高的特性,造成有源晶振石英振荡器的温飘烦恼;

4.石英易碎怕摔老化的弱点需靠生产工艺和质量管理来解决,缺乏质量和长期可靠性的一致性.

为解决石英的内在弱点,因此在时钟组件的选料上开始转向采用了全硅的产品结构,有一个全硅MEMS谐振器和一个可编程Analog CMOS驱动芯片堆栈,并以标准QFNIC封装方式完成.

EpsonSG-8002是业内首批能在极短的提前期内从几个样品快速转换到大批量生产的可编程晶体振荡器之一.SG-8002系列提供CMOSTTL输出,采用3.0V3.3V5.0V电源供电.该器件可在1MHz125MHz范围内编程,并且振荡器可根据订单要求,-20°C+70°C或者-40°C+85°C温度范围内具有±50ppm或者±100ppm的精度.SG-8002可采用多种行业标准封装和标准引脚布局.
